Hello, you savvy savant!

In the new age of AI image generation, the possibilities are endlessβ€”or so we thought! Many people (us included) are not exactly pleased with all the restrictions and policy violations our prompts seem to raise, so check out the Tuesday Takeaway to find a way through.

On a more inspirational note - sometimes our learners go above and beyond in their answers to course questions. When asked to create an image for our AI For Marketers course, the spectacular Sebastian made a whole video! You can watch the entire piece here if the snippet below intrigues you.

THE TUESDAY TAKEAWAY πŸ’‘

When Open AI announced its new image generation capabilities, the whole world raced to see what they'd look like as a Studio Ghibli character.

Now, however, if you ask for an image "in the style of Jackson Pollock," you won't get so much as a single paint fleck without being told that this "violates our content policy."

What to do? Steal like an artist, of course!

This free guide from our AI For Marketers course gives you all the design terms you need to prompt AI to create the image in your mind's eye without having to copy any real artist's name or style.

Want your own van Gogh? Just ask for "a painting with expressive brushwork, bold colour contrasts, and impasto technique, embodying the emotional intensity of Post-Impressionism."

Here's what one happy learner had to say:

WHAT MAKES THIS AD GREAT

Long before we could get machines to make any images we wanted, the brilliant art directors at Leo Burnett France came up with a series of print ads for Jeep that acted as optical illusions.

Each ad shows an animal that, when flipped upside down, transforms into a completely different creature from the opposite side of the globe.

The "See whatever you want to see" campaign is a wonderful reminder that the best ads are still, and will always be, about the idea.

If you love good ads like we do, learn how to make them in our Advertising Masters course.
