WHAT MAKES THIS AD GREAT
Few campaigns in advertising have left a mark like Sony Bravia's 2005 "Bouncy Balls" ad.

With 250,000 brightly coloured balls bouncing down the steep streets of San Francisco to the gentle tune of José González's "Heartbeats," it was a stunning spectacle that enthralled children and adults alike.

What made this ad great was its commitment to authenticity. In an era when everything on TV was made with CGI, Sony made the bold choice to use real bouncy balls, adding a tangible, almost magical quality to the film.

And it stood out, which is always the most important thing in brand advertising. Watch it here.
